  • Mymobiler Commands

    I am looking for any info on button commands for the mymobiler skin in RR. I have looked in skin editor for the basic buttons, and saw that the commands involve things like "ACTIVATE;!My Mobiler||SENDKEY;{F12}" for the home key on the skin from simplistique.

    Basically what I am looking for, is a list of commands or even better a quick tutorial on how it has been defined that SENDKEY;{F12} equals the push for home.

    Here is what I want to do. I want to from the home screen of my xv6700 (running WM 5.---) initiate the start button and then a program of my choosing. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if I didn't explain well enough just let me know.

    After some searching

    I have come to see that the "F12" or "F7" key is something established. I just didn't realize it.

    My new question (which is actually the old question changed) is, is it possible for me set a key in RR to activate my start/window key Using mymobiler and navigate to a program from there?

      "ACTIVATE;!My Mobiler||SENDKEY("^{ESC}")"

      The Windows key is a Ctrl-Escape
      SendKey("^{ESC}")
      The menu key is Shift-F10
      SendKey("+{F10}")

      NOTE: Hopefully you are not trying to run something off the Windows Start Menu. What are you trying to do? There is almost *always* a better option than launching something via the Start Menu with SendKey.

      Use the Run, ShellExecute and RunShell functions, to launch: Apps, Shortcuts, Urls.

        Thanks A bunch

        Thank you much for that MGD. I am just tinkering around with Mymobiler in relation to RR skinning so I can get familiar with all the processes.

        I am a hardware guy and an Electronics tech who is moving into the Engineering realm and I wanted to start playing with some new stuff before I go to school in the fall.

        I actually just wanted to get google maps to show up through mymobiler by pressing one button. I am not familiar with programming other then simplified stuff that I did working MV VFD's (medium voltage variable frequency drives) and want to start digging into it alot more. I never realized the relationship between my pocket pc key functions and the standard keyboard functions. I for some reason thought they would be modified.

        Thanks again and I will take your advice.

          shortcut for handsfree?

          I have a question about adding a button, what i was wanting to do is be able to turn on the hands free headset with out having to click "menu > Turn Hands-free on". Is there a way to add a button to my skin that would do this with one click?

          Thanks

            You mean speakerphone instead of headset, right?

            I added a button to my skin to toggle the speakerphone on/off with this command:

            B42,700,55,71,45,"ACTIVATE;!My Mobiler||SENDKEY;{F2}||WAIT;0.5||SENDKEY;(3)",""
            Zotac N630I-D-E M/B w/ Nvidia 7100, E5300 cpu, Xenarc 700IDT, M2-ATX, XP, RR & DFX 5.1.

              No i actually mean the headset, on my phone it is the menu click right below the turn spearkerphone on/off.
              could i just use your script but replace whatever the headset button info is? would it be a SENDKEY;(4) instead of 3?
