  • VISU when switching screens

While debugging nGen, I noticed if I have a visualization on one screen (MP3 for example) and switch to another screen with the visualization (Radio in this case) that I have to toggle the VISU command off and back on. Once I do this if I switch screens back and forth it works correctly without the toggle. Is this by design? Is there a way to show the visualization without cycling the visu command initially?

not if you properly declare a visu window

        super secret skin def command

        taken from carwings_dyanamic_lite's audio.skin

        [ Visualization Window]
        Z,1,74,797,467,

placing that in a .skin file will preload the visuname
        -Thanks

WOOHOO - Thanks Mitch! This works so much better than the workaround I had.

hehehe... if there's a def. it should prob. be in the doc... another way was to use the infamous "run;;$visuname$" command when loading the screen.
