  • One more quick PS question

If I had an image like a black music note on a white background, how could extract just the black image to put it over my button layer? Could I somehow set the white background to transparrent - this is what i would do in PSP

The easiest way is to use the magic wand tool (W) and select the black on the note. You shouldn't have to adjust the sensitivity of the tool since it's black on white. Then just right-click the selected note and hit "Layer via Copy" or "Layer via Cut". You may also want to delete the original layer.

Thanks, that worked excellent. It's not the easy in PSP. I'm gonna make the full transition now. I'm gonna use online tutorials and stuff, but you may get another question from me. . . Thanks again for the quick response.
