  • New skin: Simple Yet Effective

This is my first skin attempt. I noticed most of the available skins were very busy and graphic intensive so I decided to create one that was simplistic and clear, yet stylish, which I think is best whilst driving. I'm 60% of the way through it but just wanted to know if anyone would be interested in downloading this skin for themselves. So do you? Also, is there anything you think I could make better?

    Thanks in advance,

    LLOYDY

Yeah, this is really nice, you should release it. And PSDs. I'll certainly be switching to this if you do. I really like that its just flat and simple, easy to mod, and after all, isn't that what we're all about?

Thanks for the support guys. I'll let u kno when its done. I havent got the PSDs coz I design my stuff in Flash - I find it easier to draw with. When its all done I'll release the .fla files with it.

Does it include a camera option? Would that be the TV option I see?

I'm still making adjustments to it. I am now resizing it to 800x480 res so everyone can use it fine. Also adding some new features.

Will be making a night version of it too (using all shades of blue like the tomtom night skin).

Instead of that Utilities button I have changed it to a "more" button. This button will then open up more options for the menu (a second menu if you will). I thought this would be usefull for people to make their own second menu for features that won't be included in the skin (as I have no support for them) for e.g. mobile (cell) phone / camera / XM radio etc.

Thank you all for the compliments. Keep the comments coming. Will get this released ASAP.

Have had a lot of uni work to do over the last couple of weeks. Really want to get back doing my skin. As soon as its ready, I will release a beta version. I haven't even got my carPC installed yet!

                              Have fun!
