I made a few changes and pressed ahead with the other modules...hopefully this is useful to someone.

I tried to keep visibility without resorting to garish colors in mind, also useability while driving (large buttons).

Loosely based on my Alpine deck with touchbar.

Readme file has instructions for getting the features to work (basically list view browsing artist, icon view browsing album, one press selection, slideshow timer, transitions, fonts).

I just gave it a run!! It is quick and easy to navigate. Very nice work indeed.

The only thing I can really suggest is maybe to go a bit larger with the audio controls on the bottom bar. The button size is good and all, but the icons were a little hard to make out.

          Great work!

Thanks for the comments Dynasty....I was aiming for consistency in the interface, I'm glad you noticed that. I'm working on fattening the bottom labels, will post update when I'm done.

            Thanks again!

I reworked the screens a bit...made it more symmetric, and fattened up the bottom touchbar icons...new screens and download are on post #1

Just tried this out in my car for the heck of it and couldn't see what any of the buttons were. There is not enough contrast between the button and text color. They are both the same puke green color. Maybe make the text a different color?

                  Just a suggestion.

Thunderdepot......that sucks....I haven't put it back in the car yet, but at extreme angles it was visible inside the house, even looked 'lit up'. I was trying for and 'etched in' look...guess i'll have to scrap that idea...thanks for the heads up!

lostreception...I'm not sure how to do that, I'm not the greatest with photoshop. The buttons now have a drop shadow when off, and an inside shadow and down bevel when pressed. I tried to make them look imbedded, but there wasn't very much difference between pressed and not...any ideas?

I tried for the embedded in metal look on the Jelly buttons...is tha more what you had in mind lostreception? I think it looks pretty cool. I think I'm going to save this skin for a night skin.

Now I have to work on daytime visibility with the labels...my hat's off to you multi-skin makers, it's alot of work!
