Well, I didn't realize this, but there is a new version of Streetdeck that has been posted on the streetdeck website!

It's a damn shame that the creator of this software has shaken the SD followers as he has. I am a Centrafuse user and just downloaded and installed the SD2 trial. It is much snappier than CF can even hope to be.

The interface needs work but changing graphics and such around is cake once the foundation is laid down. While I would use SD2 over CF there is no way in hell I am laying out money for a dev who turns out to be a total flake.

Instead you lay out money for a front end which gives its users the privilege of developing all of the features they left out?? and then charges you for each major update?

Listen... I am in NO way thrilled with the way Flux does business nor their frontend. I agree that it's ridiculous that the recent upgrade to 3.1 was a big let down in many ways.

Here's my issue though... there is nothing else that complete right now.

I've tried several front ends (Road/Ride Runner, etc) and for now, CF works.

Onto my next point... I know you're the developer of openMobile because I was just scouring that forum too.

Oh I wasn't trying to say you were pro-flux...just trying to point out that the business models were crazy on both sides. They both put in the minimum amount of development to stay ahead of the competition but relied on its users to earn them even more money. Flux was smart enough to provide excellent technical support though....so the majority of people don't realize the scam. I was a longtime sd2 developer before I finally got fed up enough that I said I might as well just write the whole damn thing lol

fast-forward 6 months and bam...we have a full development team thats making tremendous progress and we should be able to go from POC to a fully working and stable 1.0 release in less then a year.

This conversation can be moved over to the forum that will hopefully be my next front-end.
