  • problem with video buttons and crashing!

i have to say i really like SD and its so nice to have something that just works...except for this part

when i go to watch a video, none of the buttons show up, and the whole control bar just turns white, then when i go back into the main menu or other areas there are buttons missing and most of the graphics are messed up. then i close the application...and when i try to start it again i get "generic application error" and i have to restart to get it to work again...there is no problem if i never go into videos... i have tried EVERYTHING i can think of

here is the log when i try to start it and get that error:

Is this a problem with all videos? Have you tried reinstalling? Are you able to try a different video card?

I have tried reinstalling, and I actually just reformatted and installed xp again, which did not fix it. I am using the M10000. I have tried a WMV file and a divx video and they both cause the problem.

Would the refresh rate have anything to do with it? Have you tried changing that?
