  • New To Streetdeck - Navigation

    Hi all,

I'm new to the whole idea of Streetdeck. It looks great from what I can see. I have a question about navigation though... I live in Australia, and from what I gather you need MS Streets and Trips installed for Streetdeck to work. Unfortunately, MS doesn't make a version for Australia

Infact, as far as I am aware, there is only one company that makes laptop navigation software for Australia and that is Travroute (CoPilot) ( Is there any way of getting Streetdeck to work with CoPilot and it's navigation features? Has anyone who lives in Australia found a navigation solution that works with Streetdeck?

Currently, StreetDeck only supports North America. The next implementation will be Europe. After that, I'm not sure of the plan.

I don't believe you can get another navigation program to work with StreetDeck as there's a good deal of stuff that's been customized. Unless someone else were to write a Digital Mod for it, I'm not sure that it can be done.

Only option for now is to use external program and put a shortcut into streetdeck.
