  • EBY701, Vertical Size, Linux

    Hi,

I have an eby701 monitor talked about on this thread: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/lcd-...iput-ebay.html. On pretty much all resolutions I have tried, the image is bigger than the display in the vertical space. The monitor has controls for moving the picture up-and-down, but I can't find one for shrinking the picture vertically. Does anyone have modline and/or xorg configurations that work properly with this monitor? Or is there another option I haven't explored? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You have to use a photo editing program to change the height and with of the wallpaper for it to display properly vertically. These links may help also(if you are just referring to the display in general)....

Since I have been fighting with this issue for months,

I thought I would revive this thread and see if anyone else has run into and/or solved said issue.

locs4dayz, how I described it may not have been the most illustrative. So, let me try again. As I tryed to explain before -- this is true for most all resolution I have tried. Is this common with this monitor?
