meh... the prob with bit torrent is that it starts out slow and then slowly it advances. I need something that is fast at all times.

The best way to download Linux iso's is to get a program like GetRight that allows multiple source downloads. Then go to http://www.linuxiso.org/ and queue up as many download sources for the same file. You'll have you're iso's in no time (assuming you're on a broadband connection).

So instead of one 100k/s download you have four 100k downloads, that would be 400k/s, faster than the minimum you asked for. So the problem is what again?

Maybe it's easier for you to tell us what you've already ruled out, and why.

Trust me it's how I always get my Linux distros and I can usually get 300-400k/s and get 500-700MB isos in around a half an hour.

try searching for a program called NetTransport on cnet, it allows you to download a file in up to 10 parts at the same time

If you're a Debian fan, you can use jigdo to assemble ISOs from debs you might already have. Won't speed up your downloads any over grabbing the ISOs themselves; best way to speed up is to choose the fastest mirror from your location.

But if you're a Debian fan, you already knew that.

Just set it up to download overnight.

Or you can get them off newsgroups (if you have a subscription). I usually download at 600+ k/s.

You can also check places like packetnews.com and ircspy.com but they are less likely to have the one you want then bittorrent.
