  • MacMini to Factory Nav Screen

    Hello,

I need help connecting the MacMini VGA output to the RGB+S input of the Nav screen of the G35.

Is there any SW like Powerstrip that allow me to change the setting (similar to PowerStrip for PC) to match the factory NAV Screen of the G35?

    Thanks a lot.

I plan to use the PAC VCI-NIS/AV as a RGB input from the MacMINI.

No, there is no software solution to this problem.

You need a scan converter for the Mini.

That interface is not an RGB input it is a composite input. Apple has a composite adapter but a composite signal is a really low resolution and wont look good.

I thought when he said RGB+S he meant S-video.

Do you have any converter that you can suggest?

          Thanks

            I meant RGB+Sync.

Pip, sorry, I linked the wrong model. I was looking into the NIS/VA instead, it has RGB+S input as well

I heard that using that unit + SwitchResX would allow me to change the sync rate of the mini to work with that?

update, I found out that my version of the Nav screen only require the regular Composite Sync, which is the normal one from the MacMini output (am I correct?), then I don't really need any SW, just that PAC-NIS/AV to act as a switcher?

wrong, I just checked and normal VGA port outputs Vsync and Hsync. So I need a converter
