it has turn by turn but that is about it. still not a good in car nav option. your best bet is to have parrallels/fusion windows xp and a good nav app
Check out the new version of NAS, a cross platform music frontend here

RouteBuddy is not yet ready as an ICN solution. We've got some other work to do with the app and maps for the experience to be optimal. It will happen but not yet I'm afraid.

The only problem I have with it is that it makes me go on some wild goose chases sometimes. It knows there are freeways but despite that it has me drive on streets to got destinations that are neither a shorter route or a faster route. The key item I like about it is that it keeps getting better with the updates. Overall it could be much better but I know they are always working on it.

                    Hi Tom,

we are working on routing and map improvements over the remainder of this year, along with the other new features we have in the pipeline. ;-)

                        Hi,

yes we know what you all are wanting! ;-)) - in fact there are some postings on our forum with the listings of what people want; feel free to add to them so we can harvest all the data and use it when building the ICN uses in.

RouteBuddy has appeal for a wide range of users and we are doing our best to move on as quickly as we can, we do however have some in-depth work going on for the betterment of the product and maps. All of this is for the good but doesn't bring a quick result for your needs just yet I'm sorry to say.

Ive got routebuddy and in all honesty its pretty useless in car. I had high hopes when I talked to the team at the Mac expostion in london in 2006 IIRC. But I think you 'll be waiting for a very long time until Routebuddy comes anywhere near windows nav solutions.

I am sad to say it was a waste of time and money.

Stick to VM and windows nav software apps.

Only think about getting Routebuddy when can do what the likes of iGuidance, Destinator and other apps can do;real world sat nav.

Only thing is you'll be waiting a long, long time and even then it will probably be total ****e.

I recently bought iGuidance and went through an ordeal trying to set it up properly with a Boot Camp partition and Parallels (be warned, it won't run on VMWare Fusion). The activation scheme is outrageously user hostile to users who experiment and change boot methods. I am sending it back for a refund because they refuse to help me configure it to work with both methods. The GPS forum is full of complaints on iGuidance V4 activation problems. I wish I had seen them before I bought it. I can't recommend the program.
Not sure what I'm going to do now. Has anyone used Garmin's new Mobile PC software?

Funny I use PC Navigator 6 with parrallels and it was a easy to set up, only problem i have is that i use AMP as my front end, with parallels as a plugin, switching between the two is a slight pain, but I'm used to it now.

PC Nvigator by Mapfactor is pretty good, Ive heard 7 isn't as good though. you can input speed camera a POI's quitee easily too.
