    I want to use a video mirror for my mac can this be done?

        definitely. Which Mac Mini model you have will dictate what type of cable conversion you will need.

          I have the G4 Mini I brought it when they first came out but have intel Mini (which is used as a media player on a 56'' LCD).

            I think this is your Mac Mini tech specs. If it is, the specs say you G4 mini came with a DVI-to-VGA adapter. I'd check that out and use it if you can. If not, they are sold all over the place. If you go to a bargain store for it, make sure you have the right kind of DVI cable. If you want me to help, post a pic of the back panel on your Mac mini. Alternatively, check wikipedia here for info.
