  • MMCX Progress

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know the progress of Mobile Media Center X. I am using a combination of Cocoa and Carbon API's. I have the sound portion about 75% done and the XML skinning/UI system about 50% done. Working with XML on OS X is not as nice as .NET Framework on Windows for example.

I am also working on porting a lot of .NET Framework stuff to Mac OS X as I go along and I am contributing all my changes to the Mono project. So as that matures I will be able to use the same code for Windows on Mac OS X which will increase porting time for all new features.

So far it is very fast and low latency. I will keep you posted. I will try to get an alpha released on this subforum sometime this week/weekend.

    Thanks

Cool, I can't wait to see what comes out of all these projects. Any chance we can see a sneak peak at what youve got? hehe. Thanks and best of luck!
