  • Specially for Mac Mini.........

    Hi,

I just found this http://www.plasticsmith.com/minitower for Mac mini. Do you think people can use it for in-car purpose?
Anybody out here already using this?

the only thing i can think of is velco and protection. if you wanna use velco on your mini without putting the sticky adhesive on your beautiful investment, this is a great product. Also is you're mounting the mini in the trunk, it adds protection against flying foreign objects

We went with the Hubbell mount. We tried both the wall and shelf mounts, but decided on the wall mount because of the wider anchor points.

That's nice, I hadn't caught before where you mounted the Mini. Do you have any issues getting in an out with it down there? About half the time I get in my wife's 996 I bump my knee on the shelf.

I keep sending her links from your site, but she isn't buying into letting me put a mini in her car

We switched to the Hubbell to solve that problem :-)

The left pic on the first image showed the old mount that we made...which we hit pretty much EVERY time we got into the Boxster.

The Hubbell mount does not have the corners and hitting the thing is no longer a problem...but then we only let short guys like me work on it :-)
