  • Recommend some good games to put on carpc

    Hey.
I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for some games (free?) which would be good on the carpc (mostly to entertain the passenger). Since the only input is the touchscreen, I would prefer games which do not require a keyboard. Any suggestions? Thanks.

There's this great game where you're navigate through everyday situations, keeping yourself and your group safe, reacting to changing conditions and avoiding running into anything or tangling with law enforcement.

    It's calld DRIVING YOUR CAR!!!!

    Seriously...
Games are abound. Are you looking for old-school arcade games? look at MAME.
There are console emulators for PS1, PS2, XBox, N64, SNES, Dreamcast, Genesis, Atari 5200 & 2600... You name it.

Oh, and don't even think of gaming while driving....
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

The BlueDevil skin has a couple of really good games that take full advantage of touch screens. Ex. Shoot em up game, darts, I think bowling, maybe a card game.

And let me tell you... when you're waiting on the lady friend to get done with God knows what games help keep your sanity .

Of course, keep Darque Pervert's advice in mind .

How cool would it be to have Megatouch in your car?

You know one of those WoW addicts out there will find a way to put it in his car, so he can play 24/7! I can imagine having raids in the starbucks parking lot just for the free internet access.

Good old school games (for a typical car pc) have to be the classic Doom/Quake, Mario Cart, Twisted Metal, Carmageddon, etc. Now through in a KR1 and have a lan party right in your backseat!

Thanks for the suggestions. Most games require the use of a keyboard, but it seems to me that in a carpc, it would be best to have games that are purely touch based (hard to find). Kind of like the built in solitaire, but cooler...

And of course I would never game while driving =)

yep. There's so many flash games out there and a good amount of them require no keyboard input. Plus they're compatible with RR. Try out CDR's flash game player. Makes it easy to add games and play them.
