  • Interested in This Camera... how to get to work?

    im interested in buy this camera (http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetai...003&click=9800) but i am wondering if it is possible to make it so when i put the car in reverse the cam will display, then when i take outa reverse it goes away... also i want to have 1 in the front of my car which i can just switch on using RR


    is this possible?

    far fetched?

    ideas/opions?

      conect the camera to the wiring that light up the reverse lamp on your car don't forget to protect the camenra with a fuse or a voltage regulator

        You need to have a screen that will automatically switch to the video input of the camera when it detects a signal from that camera. That way you could wire the camera to get power from the reverse lights. When you put the car in reverse, it powers the camera, and the screen will switch to that input. When you take it out of reverse, the camera will lose power, adn the screen will go back to your carpc input. I'm pretty sure the Xenarcs do it.

          is there a way to get a camera to hookup to PC so i can just use a program to control it, because i want to get a camera in the front of the car for like a speed cam
