The web browser looks like an IE skin

but it overall has very good potential.

        Hi,
how is this interface piloted ? Via Keys or IR ? If IR is it compatible with winlirc or has it "same keys for same functions"?

        Regards

Print button - we have to think of all applications, the majority of our Auto PC customers are business people and do actually have mobile printers in their car, and this is the same software that runs on our Revolution and Memphis systems.

How its controled - you can control it via a mouse or touchscreen. We are also considering adding remote control and voice control to the menu but not immediatly. For people that dont have touchscreens, small touchpads will also be available for purchase.

          Thanks,

remote would be cool ( winlirc )
what display size do you focus with your app. I'mean for what size is it made ? 5,6 or higher . I personally do not see the advantage to put a touchoverlay over my 5,6 " video screen because its difenatly too little

I wouldnt' even consider using it w/out remote, as i'm not planning on gettin a touchscreen anytime in the next couple years.

                  I'll stick to cobraII

actually, i emailed you guys at gnet quite a few times, trying to find out about this program, and never got a response.

felix99 - it is really optimized for screens 5.0-10.4". keep in mind, when i say the touchscreen can control it this also implies that a mouse will control it, we offer small ps/2 touchpads that can be mounted in your car.

johnram - yes, the software will be available separatly

smashr2k - NO, the GPS button will simply link to an external source, we are not going to develop an integrated GPS solution, the Travroute co pilot GPS nav package would be amazing for what you need though.

00CericaRuss - Sorry that no one ever got back to you about the software, probalbly because at the time it wasnt available without purchasign the system. And as i said to felix, you dont need a touchscreen, you could use a mouse.

Due to the response here i think we will definitly be integrating remote control access.

                    Thanks,

                    Keep the input coming

I also sent a number of emails inquiring about the software, and never recieved a reply either. Truthfully, I was rather ticked..... it would have been nice if someone would have been decent enough to send a reply saying 'Sorry, it's not available as a standalone product.' I think it's a great looking piece of software, and would love to give it a try, but not if past experience is representative of gnetcanada's customer service skills...

et/a - at this point i would have to say that there must be a problem with our email server since i get almost all our sales related e-mails and never leave an e-mail unanswered. Sometimes what happens as well as people type their email address in wrong in the web form (say one character off) therefore making the reply sent bounce back to us with a user unknown message, im sure that this is a technical problem and not representative of customer service issues.
