  • Mouse position on XP startup?

Is there a way of changing the default mouse position on XP startup? I don't like the pointer in the middle of the screen when loading. I would like to have the pointer in the bottom right hand corner, out of view.

That is definately an interesting quesion... I am sure it is a key somewhere in some loading exe.

Might be easier to replace your cursor icon with a transparent icon, so there is no cursor since you will be booting a frontend anyways right?

Not a bad idea, but when I wanted to exit the frontend, I would like a cursor so I can operate Windows

You could program a little AutoIT script to move the mouse cursor and put the compiled program in the Startup folder. Ya, that's a little kludgy, but it would get the job done.

Yeah, but I boot directly into my front-end and don't want the cursor on the screen when XP is displaying the 'applying settings' diolg window. In fact it would be nice if I could hide this dialog window aswell.
