  • SpeedFan Settings Help

I'm using SpeedFan to overclock my pc, however, SpeedFan doesn't allow you to save the clock settings on reboot/restart. I've read on here in a couple of posts where users have modified the registry or ini file to load the settings on restart.

Does anyone know how to do this? I've searched for the answer on google, but 99% of the speedfan posts deal with fan speeds and settings (obviously).

    Thanks in advance.

As I remember SpeedFan doesn't use profiles or anything to save the info, it just does. I don't use that feature on any of my boxes (SuperMicros), but it does retain the names of everything fine. On the few AMD based machines I've built for others, speedfan did retain the under/overclock and fan speeds after the first setup. The auto functions always worked fine with a chipset selection. Only the charting functions are not persistent.
