Good point, I shoudl have explained things a little.
The C-134 case containing the computer has industrial velcro on the bottom and stays put no matter what I do to the truck.
The screen has two steel L brackets that are then slotted between the head unit and the bracket, its also rock solid.
There is also a scanner - BC780XLT, VHF Ham radio setup (Icom 2720) (which is on the overhead console, slightly out of view.
The switch panel is used for the lights; fog, overhead, rear, flood. Plus one for computer ITPS override and the winch isolator.
The head unit was the cheapest AUX capable unit I could find while I figured out a better long term solution.
I am looking for a head unit that has XM capability without using the AUX input and is black to match the rest of the kit. The amp is in the overhead console and there are two speakers either side of the driver, ditto for passenger, and 2 that cover the rear, plus a subwoofer under one of the rear passenger seats. The other houses the 3rd battery.
There is currently the old StreetPilot installed until I am happy with CoPilot. So far its not as accurate, which is wierd, it has me on the wrong street when its parked in the driveway.
A lot of consulting hours to get the beast...
