  • Skin for WinDVD, PowerDVD...

    Why doesnt anyone just make an easy ts controled skin for WinDVD or PowerDVD? Instead of all the troubble with built it dvd decoders in all carsoftwares...

    I myself havent got the tools to do so, but if anyone gives em to me, i'll garantee you a hard try =)

    Why?

    I would say because there is no fun in that, it's the same reason why we, the people here, don't just buy a complete carputer.

      actually Maņana makes a pretty valid point. Instead of embedding it, why not just skin it to match your front end. That way you can add support for anything the skinned app supports. But.... if you rip all your dvd's a nice way to browse through each movie may be needed which can be provided by the front end. I dont know how to write code, so i dont know how much fun that is, but for most of us here, the real fun is in watching the movie.

        I was wondering the same thing! I plan to skin PowerDVD to be TS-friendly if I can't find something already done.

        FP doesn't handle ripped DVD's the way I want it, so I'm looking for something else. Hoping I don't have to write it myself.

          Why dont just rip them into iso/img/bin or anything, and mount them with alcohol 120%?
