    I don't get it, I've had to delete and re-install XP 3 times now and I can't get rid of this "unable to locate file: c:\windows\systblah\delfolder.exe"
    I've deleted evertyhing concerning it in regedit and now this last time I can't even install windows now.. what gives?

    run hijackthis and see whats trying to access it

    does it do this in safemode?

      msconfig...

      it's probably being started on boot. click start > run > type "msconfig" > "startup" tab and look for an entry that has delfolder.exe listed. take the tick out of the box, reboot, voila.

        what do you mean by "delete and re-install XP"? Are you reformatting the drive? Because if you are then you should not be having any problems on a fresh XP install...
