  • Searching for MP3's

Well, a few days ago I decided to take the plunge and install my own mp3 player. I've been trying to choose which kind of system I want, which has proven very difficult. Anyways, the other day a friend of mine told me about a system he found online which used a phone keypad type thing to search for mp3s. Since each number has three possible letters, it apparently uses algorithms to narrow down the possibilities. I think this system would be by far the best for my application, but of course he forgot where he saw it. I haven't had much time to look for it so any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hey, thanks a lot. I think that's exactly what I'm looking for. I guess I should have looked a little harder...info on mpxf is all over this site. Sorry about that.
