Maybe one day. I am more concerned about functionality at the moment.

Because all the others I have tried always seem to be missing something that I want or donít work with my hardware. I figure I can write my own and customize it the way I like easier than requesting changes and waiting.

I only post it here if you can also make use of it.

I like how simple it is but the color scheme sucks. no offence

Thanks, I like to keep it interface simple. Again I am more concerned about functionality than looks. Considering I am using a touch screen, I wanted large buttons that are easy to locate and click while driving. I do plan to make the color scheme adjustable.

I like the colors alot. The next version will allow you to add/rename buttons for external applications and change the color scheme so you can customize the main screen. But no skins (yet).

I am using a laptop for my car computer. I have wired in a relay to the laptop lid switch. The relay coil is connected to my cars accessory circuit. When I turn on the ignition, the relay emulates opening the laptop lid and the computer comes out of standby (depending on the Windows power settings). When I turn off the ignition, the relay disengages and the laptop goes into standby (drawing only about 100ma on the car battery).
This work flawless in my car. The computer is up and ready within seconds of turning on the ignition.
I am just wondering if anyone has found a better way to do this?
