  • I need to close a program before going into hibernation

Is there any way to close IGuidance (or any open app) before going into hibernation? If it's left open, my computer dumps memory when it resumes. I'm using frodoplayer as my FrontEnd. Is there a script or some XP utility that will do that?
    Thanks

    a. paired with this tool:
    http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=58933
the process program from here: http://www.beyondlogic.org/solutions...rocessutil.htm
should do the trick. Just say something like this:

    Code:
    C:\>process -k notepad.exe

Command Line Process Viewer/Killer/Suspender for Windows NT/2000/XP V2.03
    Copyright(C) 2002-2003 [email protected]
    Killing PID 2792 'notepad.exe'
    Killing PID 4888 'notepad.exe'

    C:\>
(except using iguidance.exe rather than notepad.exe of course) and that should work. But ive never used the first app before so I couldnt tell you if it does what you want.

Is it the app being left open or the GPS causing the dump? You should make sure you have the latest drivers for it. XPort may eliminate the problem too.
