  • Any Linux or Blaine or Ogg Vorbis users out there?

Just wondering if anyone has had experience/success with systems based on Blaine and/or Ogg Vorbis files. I'd love to hear from you!

    Ogg Rules!

Ogg is Great! It's based on variable bitrate encoding, it's free (as in free beer and free market), and I did my own tests with Ogg's encoded at level 6 (approx. 192Kbit) vs. 16-bit 44.1khz wav files and I couldn't tell the difference between the two.

Yes, I've found the same to be true. Do you use Ogg Vorbis encoded files with your system? If so, what program do you use?

I just use winamp and the ogg winamp plugin. I'm working on a JMF ogg decoder for when I port my system to Java.
