I remember Day Of The Tentacle! I had the "special" CD-ROM version with all the voices in actual sound instead of the lame speech bubbles...Played that thing for years, until I lent it to a friend and never got it back.

Okay, I remember "flimbos quest" on the amiga.. as well as "rick dangerous" but most of you probably haven't heard of these..
still play them with an emulator.. its not the same though.. I want a graphics card with TV out, and a amiga controller adapter..

Man I used to lay in bed at night and think of things I hadn't tried to do to figure out solving Maniac Mansion on the Commodore 64...I finally gave in and bought a hint book...

I have not played Maniac Mansion...At that point, I was wrapped up in the 7th Guest. I don't care what anyone says, Myst SUCKED, The 7th Guest was the TRUE "breakthrough" game of that era. Myst was just a half-baked amature clone of Guest...

                      Games
What about Simon the Sorcerer (spelling???) or the Settlers, or the Great Giana Sisters on the Amiga..

                      Those were the days !!!!!

                      Progs
I've spend days with the mod-trackers and my own sampler... This was cool !!!! I remember I could record something like 3 seconds CD-Quality music with my 2mb 1200 !! lol....

Back when I still had the C64 I had some expansion card in the back which I didn't know the purpose for.. There was something you could put eprom etc etc.. in....

2 years after I practically gave the thing away I found out this thing was an eprom-programmer... That sucked... (not that I had any need for it.. but it would come in handy.. someday..sometime...hehehehehehe)
