obviously we need to know what your bios manufacturer is. secondly you need to find out your motherboard model/version. Then goto the manufacturer website, or search google to see if your boarded has any rebranded clones with bios update. Download the motherboard manufacturer bios flashing ap and usually you have to save it to a dos bootable disk, then backup your bios and flash the new one.
    PC Components:
    Lilliput; XPC/FLEX mobo; 1.7 ghz P4 Mobile;512 DDR; 160 gb HDD; opus 150; slot usb dvd-rw

Makes me laugh how people dare do BIOS updates when they don't know what they are doing, I've been doing them for years and still sit touching cloth just in case it goes wrong!

There is no middle ground. The bios info on your site WILL spoonfeed you everything because bios updating is so risky. It's noy hard. jus tmake sure you have a good stable PSU and no dodgy problems with your PC like an IDE cable that comes lose every now and then. and if you do it from floppy use a new one or one you know is good and nicely freshly formatted.
