Ok, well you have not really said much about the issue you are experiencing.

With little or no background on the issue how can you expect that the forum members will respond to you?

    For instance,

What Operating System are you running?
Is this a Boot Screen that you are trying to have appear when Windows XP boots up?
Is this a BIOS graphic that you are trying to integrate into your BIOS?
What method have you used to either integrate into either the boot up screen or the BIOS?

    Lots of unanswered questions there.

I am happy that you "got it to work", but maybe you could elaborate on the problem and also how "you got it to work", so maybe we also can learn something

i resized the picture so it will look stretched at a normal monitor (4:3). when you load it up in your widescreen touchscreen, the bmw logo will look perfectly round.

just right click on it and save the picture.

instructions on how to replace your windows load screen is here:

i guess you have to do it yourself. just save the bitmap and then backup your ntoskrnl.exe, and download resource hacker.

boot in safe mode and run resource hacker. open up ntoskrnl.exe from your windows\system32 folder, and then replace the #1 bitmap with the bmw bitmap that you just downloaded.

Guys... you should give Stardock software's bootskin a try... It works very fast, requires no overhead and you can change your bootskin very rapidly. Just google stardock bootskin or here is the link:

                    http://www.stardock.com/products/bootskin/

Here is my bootscreen.. I had to convert it to a JPG to upload, just convert it back to a .bmp if you want to use it. I nixed the progress bar and credit to Micro$haft since it's a carputer.

Only really need console if you are using NTFS, DOS is fine for FAT32.

Recovery console is on WinXP cd, just boot from it and select R. Follow steps.

                      DONE.
