  • MicroXP vs TinyXP vs Embedded XP

Which would be the fastest, or what is recommended if I have access to all three.
edit: or nlightos, forgot about that one, but i don't really know what I am doing

I prefer TinyXP because of the simplicity. You install a great version of XP without all the bloat, then they give you a program that cuts services if you don't need them. The drivers on the CD are absolutely perfect and it has worked with all my hardware, even the stuff that normal XP can't find drivers for.

nLite and embedded never quite worked that well for me.
    Never tried microXP.

Configuring an XPe image is not a trivial task and is extremely expensive for single use, so I wouldn't even include it if you're considering TinyXP and nlite.

For a car PC, nlite is fine.

I like nLite also, especially since you can embed SP3 into it and trim out all the bloat.
