  • Want to kill all running apps when hibernate but wait for one

My windows is set to kill all running apps automatically since I otherwise will have to press "yes" on a lot of dialog windows that appears.

Anyway, now I need one app to really be executed and finished BEFORE going into hibernate, this program - hibernate trigger, must be executed for my usb devices to unload properly. It loads a .bat file before and after hibernate. Now I want windows to wait for this application to end and kill all other when this program is finished doing what it should.

    anyone?

hibernate trigger should do this automatically so long as it doesn't take any longer than 20 seconds to do whatever its doing. So far as I know there isn't any way to change this as its coded into windows.

Edit.... see my reply to your other post as to what I think your doing wrong. Maybe keep all related stuff in one post in the future as its easier for people to help you out

Well if it is a .bat file, then instead of having your power button "hibernate", have it open your .bat file. Then do all you want with opening and closing programs, and after the wait is done, manually execute a hibernate.
