  • I've been at this for days...

And I'm tired.. I need answers.. Here's the problem,

Phonecontrol isn't reading my signal strength.. which isn't really a big deal, BUT, it also isn't recognizing when I press keys.. v1.3 worked like a champ. But I can't seem to get this to work with v1.4.. I don't know why. none of the keymaps work.. it's like it's not sending anything to phoco at all.. I have a SET610 so everything should work like a charm, like it did before.. but like I said. it's not giving me a signal strength either, so that could be part of the problem. I checked all the config files and they all seem to OK. so.. Anyone else have this problem with v1.4?

For the KeyPress... did you set the +CMER into AdditionalInit?

    In General:
If you have not installed Widcomm drivers version 4, please do.
There is some strange behavior with older drivers I can't handle. They seem to buffer the serial IO for any reason, so the messages are not incoming in the way they're supposed to.

well I do have widcomm 4. AdditionalInit to +CMER, gave me no change in behavior. calls and sms work fine.. all phonebooks read fine.. just can't get keystrokes to register.

Your logfile shows an Error when the AdditionalInit is sent. Is you command "+CMER=3,2"?
                  Why not?

The not showing signal strenght is a bug. Get the latest binaries here: http://phoco.net/tmp/phoco.zip
