No problems with Nokia Data Suit and HyperTerminal. Any Ideas??

I also noticed one or two glitches on the config files.
You forgot a few caption tags. On design 6 you left the CustomDrawn backgroundImage tag, from the phonebook panel as True, which makes the panel invisible.

    Hi Brave,

thank you for your exemplary post
Are you sure that your Port is COM4 as your configuration file says? If your are using IrCOMM2k it usually installs a higher port number.
Please keep in mind, that PhoneControl doesn't support port number above 16!

The "glitches" you've found were intended I wanted it to look a bit extraordinary

Thank you also for the Portuguese translation of the designs. If you like to translate the documentation as well, you are warmly welcome.

Im having problems getting it to work with my T68i.

I assigned it to COM4 and it says Opening the COM port failed.

      Edit: never mind it works.

Edit: Anybody been able to get both a cell and a Jabra headset to work at the same time? Or have the audio come out of the computer?

Can we also get some way to check voicemail. For most people you have to dial a number to get into voice mail and it would be nice if we could do that on the Touchscreen.

What if you setup a new name in your phonebook that's called "Voicemail"?

            @berty
Copy the picture to the "Photos" directory (for the name and format please refer to the documentation).

I can confirm it works almost fully with a nokia 6310i using a Bluetake BT009s dongle (http://www.bluetake.com/Products/poke2thbt009.htm). the only failing i've had with this phone is the inability to retrieve more than 1 phone number from contact with multiple numbers assigned.

There is absolutly no response from my N-gage ,though this didn't suprise me at all (would have been more suprised if it had worked )

my only other question which i have been unable to find an answer to in the documentation is....... is it possible to position the application any where other than the top left corner of the screen? (i've tried changing the values in the config file, but only the second set of x,y co-ordinates make any differeance. I run a multiple monitor system and it would be really handy to be able to position it on a different monitor.

Zorro man, i want to say thank you. You haven't got a clue how much i have been searching for a simplified program like this! Absolutely brilliant. Only thing that was time consuming is translating the scripts from german to english in the .xml doc. Brillinat program . I've made it as an external application from the mediacar menu. Hopefully in future you ad coyote could merge these two brilliant prog together and make it an intergrated function inside mediacar!!! Thanks man!

i've tried to get this to work consistantly, but, i can't set this up to keep the serial port constant between the bluetooth dongle and my phone. i have the linksys usb bluetooth, and it only wants to use ports 7 and higher, but my phone, the erisson t616 only wants to use ports 1 or 2. please help me. i've tried to change it in advanced config on the linksys side, but only automatically assigns numbers, i can't assign them to what i want, and the same goes for the 616. i've looked on other forums for this problem, but their options aren't the same for me in the linksys properties. thanks

Yes, audio works through my computer. You have to have the headset profile on your computer (so the computer is providing the headset service to the phone.) I'm still trying to work out some issues with it though. Right now it automatically answers the call (doesn't wait for me to press a button to pick up the call) which might work in some applications, but I don't like it so much.

I have been able to answer the call manually on the phone and then transfer the audio to the computer, but would rather not have to.

I'm using XP and a Cadmus Billionton USB dongle with a SE T610

Has anyone else been working on this or had this problem?

                        Hi lazarus,
Thanks for your post and the link to the dongle. Now it it a part of the "Tested dongles" The behaviour of the Nokias giving only one number back is well known but you can edit the PhoneCtl.PB.xml by yourself. I will be translating this part during the day and put it online.

Obvoiusly the N-Gage was not made for "real man" games

The point with the coordinates I've already checked and must confirm that this is a bug . Please check for a new download tonight. You only have to download the PhoneCtl.NET.ZIP which contains the EXE only.

You're welcome. But you didn't have to translate the scripts by yourself, Bravellir did it already ... in Portuguese

Dim, you are mixing something up, I think. It's ok that the BT-Manager offers you ports 7 and higher. You dont have to change this at the linksys side. I've checked the linksys website and figured out that you are also having the Widcomm software. What you have to do is:

                            - Connect to the phone using "Quick connect" (see pic below - red arrow)
                            - Open the BT-Explorer goto "My Bluetooth Neighborhood"
                            - Find your phone and get the properties of the "Serial Port 1" service
                            - Look which port is assigned to and setup this port in the configuration file (if you have a standard configuration this is supposably COM8 because the first one, COM7, ususally gets assigned to make connectoins to the PC)

Thats all. Maybe you have to pair the PC with the mobile if you haven't done it already. How to says... yes you've got it... the linksys documentation
