                Have a look here: http://idenphones.motorola.com/iden/...plications.jsp
Under "Wireless Data Software Applications" you'll find drivers to setup your phone as modem. Do that, then try PhoCo.

Zorro thanks. I found that site last night and I used the iden plus modem driver. I was able to make a dial up networking call with my computer but phoco didn't really work. When I ran phonco it connected to the phone but got nothing when I did a manual dial. The phone was saying data call which is what I was seeing when I setup a dun connection. Also when I did a test in phoco the at commands it was sending failed. This phone dosent accept at command sets so I don't know how phoco will be able to interact with this phone without a special config.

And if it can dial a number it will put the phone in data call mode. How can I hear the call. Also how can I use the bluetooth audio gateway when bt is using serial?

I am new to this so bear with me. This is my 2nd day at this bt/phone/phoco stuff, just need more time to crack it.

There may be two reasons for that:
                    1. The Dial command you used doesn't end with a ";" which causes the phones to think this is as data call. You can easily check that by looking into the PhoneCtlLog.txt and search for ATD
                    2. The driver can handle data calls only. In this case, no matter what you send it'll not work. Just for the record: This is no fault of PhoCo, it's the phone and there's nothing I can do against.

                      Thanks Zorro.

I know PhoCo is not to blame, great App BTW. I will have to do some playing around to determine if I can get the phone to respond correctly. Maybe some other iDen users can share some of their experiences. Not sure if anyone got a iDen phone to work with PhoCo.

On another note I noticed that my i870 has WiDEN, high speed data??!??

Would be really nice to tap into that

                        Hey i870 Folks,

Found some info on our beloved phone. Not PhoCo related but useful all the same.
