  • V710 working then crash

Hello, I could sure use some help figuring this one out. This is a great prog, I can wait to get it working

I'm using version 1.5 phonecontrol and WIDCOM 4.0.1.7 drivers. I have successfully gotten my Motorola V710 to work for a short period of time. I have been able to read my phone book, place calls and recieve calls. However, the program crashes (hard crash, need to reboot) after a short time running. I'm not sure what action causes the crash, seems to be random. Just leaving the phone connected waiting for a call, will also crash the program.

I'm using a Silcon Wave Bluetooth device (HCI 1.2). I have tested in two different windows xp machines, same result.

Here is my log entries (they look similar after each crash).

Here is my xml file. I think you may be right about loosing my com port. Would this cause phoco to crash? I also use Motorola Phone Tools (via blueooth) and everything works good.

If I'm am loosing my com port while connected, any sugestions on how to fix (new dongle?).

      thanks

the config file looks good to me. I think it may be a problem with your widcomm driver causing the timeout and crash. Try updating to the latest version and following the exact install directions listed in the widdcomm driver thread.
