Interesting, and the legality questions and implications are sure to follow.

What would be the benefits to a WiFi Hogger ???

            I don't get it ?????

            Other than to degrade networks

I'm an ex- US Navy Electronic warfare person ( pre - Internet ) so I can understand the concept, but why would you want to ??

That's awesome. I'd love to be able to block rogue wifi from my house. It would mean default out of the box stuff would work for once lol.

It says it looks at incomming packets to check there destination IP. If its yours then it come through, if it's not then gets jammed. How does the packet get through the jammer to check the IP? once u have the packet to check the IP, the packet is yours and it's too late to jam. Wouldn't you literally have to be closer the to packet source then those you are jamming?

BTW, reading a packet to check the destination IP is against the law. That's why connection to an AP while wardriving is illegal. (I realize the legality of all this is questionable right now, but use your head.)

I just bought one. Basicly you buy a 2.4ghz video jammer and build the wifi part of it. As to why would I do it. Simple because I like having stuff I not suppose to have. Some people Drink, use Drugs,Smoke. I dont I like spending money on stuff that doesnt go away after you use it.

I like collecting and building stuff. Pretty much everyone has the same goal as me. To own something that your not suppose to have.
