Just making sure it is on Sep 24th? And the Hackathon on the 25th?

I have seen a couple sites reference the 10th/11th for betascape and others the 24th/25th so I just want to make sure before buying a ticket

Clicking the link reverted me back to their homepage using Chrome. Trying to run through a search for it wasn't much help on the site either. I'm wondering how much tickets are? Since I'm from Erie, PA (5-6 hours), price of tickets will be a factor for myself and family. Also, to anyone who's been there, is it worth it for one day? Probably wouldn't be able to stay for Sunday event .

I found it by searching for "AFKFest" in "Baltimore, MD" and it was the first and only thing that popped up.

Tickets for AFKFest are free. I was referring to buying a plane ticket as I am about 30-32 hours of solid driving away from the event. I did drive last time, but this year I am just going to fly. I thought it was fun, and it was exciting to meet people from "the interwebs" in real life. When I went it was hosted at mp3car's business and parking garage and it went well. Even met a low level celebrity lol.

So, we've decided to not do the hackathon associated with AFKFest 2011. This portion of the event on Sunday September 25 has been canceled.

AFKFest is still September 24 and will have lots to offer.

The speaker series for AFKFest will still begin at 10:00am with the car show and Betascape events to follow.

Rob Wray is scheduled to speak about his 5 favorite iPhone apps.
Sean Clark is scheduled to speak his experience with both a traditional car computer and the Mimics iPhone interface device.

As always, please PM me if you'd like to show your car this year. It's going to be good!

Just found out protodelorean's Delorean (go figure) will be there again this year. Looking forward to seeing this and many more amazing cars.

Any other people planning on bringing their vehicles?

I might just have to drive my Delorean (#3297) out there too.

Given the time though, I will probably be flying. (By plane unless I can get my Mr. Fusion to work)

Baltimore is kind of en-route... Make it a corn-free drive so you are not allowed to drive through corn fields, and voila... you're in baltimore. Of course this won't work getting back to your final destination, but it will get you to AFKFest.
