    Mp3Car is hosting another one-of-a-kind show September 24, in Baltimore, Maryland. Come join computer hackers, car enthusiasts, techies, and audiophiles in a day of informative talks, car computer install presentations, socializing and innovating. In the morning, enjoy a free interactive speaker series on various topics on mobile computing.

    This year's AFKFest will be at Betascape 2011, an event made to showcase innovative technology through a series of exhibits, workshops, and social events. Now our forum member vehicles will join forces with the likes of all types of cutting edge, experimental, and interactive technology. Come for the weekend and check out this fun-filled and informative event.

    Space for the speaker series is limited to 100

    This year, space is limited to roughly 15 vehicles

    If you'd like to showecase your vehicle, please PM jensen2000 on the mp3Car forums for registration details

    People's Choice Award will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the "Most Techie & Innovative" vehicle

    The Maryland Film Festival will be held in the same location

    Live music and street vendors will also be at Betascape-- come hungry!

      Are the mp3car.com folks going to pick the 15 "best" cars to represent the community for the show, or just the first 15 cars that register for the event?
      2003 Lexus SC430 - Black with Ecru. VaisTech & NavTool with Centrafuse integrated into factory nav screen (hands-free Bluetooth, Voice Command, mp3's, videos, HD Radio, Sirius Sat. radio, DVD, Internet, & digital gauges (via OBD-II)), & LuxLink module.

        Greg you know your car is a shoe-in for that anyway haha.


        Personally I liked before, where there wasn't really a limit. Kinda feels like we're moving away from a mp3car meet, and more towards a display booth at betascape.

          With my Windows crashing on every 3rd boot, HD radio not working, and still running CF 2.1...I dunno!

              Wow, AFKFest is pretty late this year. I see it's going to be in conjunction with Betafest, but where will it be held?

              Also, I agree with malcom2073 about liking MORE cars there. Last year was my first AFKFest and I really enjoyed seeing ALL the cars!
