I get this too, a fix would be SUPER apreciated
As the title says I always get a pop on the speakers when the music resumes, i.e. the system is completely started.
I didn't have this problem before. I moved the CarPC from under the passenger seat to the trunk and reinstalled the whole system. XP, SP2, newest FrodoPlayer, newest drivers for my M9000 VIA board. The wiring is the same. Any ideas ? I'm not sure if it's a problem with Frodo.
Who knows why this happens now ? And how can it be solved ? Or is there at least an workaround ?

is this happening when you resume your computer? From hibernate, stand-by ?
I would have if I'd be sure that it's a problem of FrodoPlayer. But I don't know.
This pop appears when booting, restarting, resuming after hibernation, ... everytime when the music starts playing.
sounds like a regular computer issue, not sure though. Ive seen this on desktop pcs, and currently there is a small pop or crackle when my carputer first gets power and is booting the bios, but only audible when the volume is up loud, same thing on my desktop pc. I never hibernate any pcs but i assume its the same issue.
Does this also happen if you hibernate with winamp or wmp?
Well but that's not the problem I have. It doesn't happen while the PC is booting. Not at the BIOS screen, not while loading XP or returning from hibernate. Just when FrodoPlayer starts. (I run it as shell btw). And it happens everytime.
Damn, no one having an idea why this happens?
have you tried not running frodo as a shell?
