do you have anything else running as well while listening to XM ?.... cos I have been listening to XM with a very similar setup for much longer than 10 minutes...
Listened to it for 45 minutes this morning on hte way into work
1st of all Thanks! FP is great! Liquid, your skin is sweet!
I have XP SP2 w/ XM direct using Hybrids cable. I am testing on my desktop to limit variables. Signal strength is very strong.
After listening to XM it stops responding. The music stops and the selected channel info stops. I can continue to navigate around the screen and highlight other channels, they just won't play. If I exit XM and go back in, It will work for a shorter amount of time. It will not work after that unless I quit the program and go back in. (Mem leak??)
I am not complaining - you guys especially Frodo are doing a great service for this group!!!
Thanks!

Did you call and activate your unit. XM will allow you to connect with your XM device for 10minutes as a trial type thing. This sound like the issue you have. If you did activate it, you may want to contact them and confirm it was activated.Originally Posted by Bigassbike

The unit is active, I even refreshed it. It played for about 30 minutes at lunch today, then it stopped again.
Outlook & IE were running, but I have a gig of RAM in this machine.
Thanks again!
