i am getting that to. I just reinstalled windows and when it repaired it frodoplayer returns a database error. The error message says Uh Oh, Can't open dataase
I am getting this error on first launch as soon as main app frame appears. Clicking OK appears to "hang" FP and no button responds anymore. It also does not envoke configuration dialog (as expected). I am suspecting my "nLited" WinXP to cause this. Can someone suggest what missing component might be neded?
I am attaching zipped fperrorlog.txt FYR.

Yea i completely uninstalled and deleted the frodoplayer directory. I will make sure that those componants are installed.
It seems reinstalling fixed some other things is was having problems with. I am hoping that it will fix the volume issue i was having.
Thanks.

after installing MDAC 2.8 frodoplayer worked.
It still didn't fix my "volume jumping to 100% when switching tracks"
But i am happy to be back up and running![]()

Because, as we already determined, that's not my fault.Originally Posted by antimatter
