Slow visual fullscreen

When frodo is playing mp3 not in fullscreen mode, then i got max FPS with the visuals. But when i switch to fullscreen mode i get a slow fps rate. The weird this is, when i touch the screen (and the counter in the upper right is counting) i get max fps in fullscreen mode. When i release the screen and the counting is stopped it slows down again.

I tried fullscreen with media player and the visual is also at max fps.

What could be wrong?

I have, but in RR. Never brought it up, because I never use vis anyways.
Very strange problem indeed...

Btw. what hardware are you running? I'm an an MII10000 w/onboard video and Lilliput TS. Could it be the Lilliput drivers?

I am running on a Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop (2.2 ghz, something line 845 intel videocard, 512 mb, XP sp2) using Frodo 1.09 take3 and windows media classic installed using K-Lite mega pack (with all possible codecs). Never ever touched windows media player (9) and setup the Vis. there. But i have experienced this problem with all installs i had. But when i do touch media player 9 and setup (other) vis and play a mp3 and goto fullscreen, the vis. is in full fps. When i goto fullscreen via frodo the vis is remarkeble slower.

I am using a lilliput 7" touchscreen too, but i doubt this has something to do with it. I only installed touchscreen drivers.

Hmm, Yeah i get the same problem, with a 1.2ghz system i built.
Gets really choppy whenever i click full screen visual.

Somone is working on enabling Winamp Visualizations to work in WMP for Frodoplayer.... but i'm not sure this will fix the problem

This is why I thought it could be the lilliput drivers. Try uninstalling them, and use a mouse to see if it acts the same (full FPS when holding down left mouse button)

mine is slow no matter what.... holding down the mouse does nothing

My vis is at full speed if there is another window or menu brought up which partially covers the vis window.
If only the vis is showing full screen it is choppy.

Have you guys ever tried G-Force Gold visuals? First you get album art displayed with in the vis and they flow very nice on my MII 10000. Cost is only 10 bucks, I think they have a demo of it as well to test it.

They look way better than the Microsoft crappy vis as well.
