Thread: SKIN UNDER CONSTRUCTION! - NO NAME yet! feedback appriciated

i just uploaded some more teasers!! bobs gonna be coding em tonight ive also uploaded the app view for people to test out...

basicly what u do is go into .../frodoplayer/ look for the APP folder rename that to app1 and then unzip the downloaded file (which can be found in the 1st post) into .../frodoplayer/apps/ and just open up frodo and it will work :-P i still have to add the location for a few programs so dont get worried if they dont work!! have fun!! tell me what u guys think!

Skin is coming along well. Hopefully it will be completed after this weekend. Just waiting on DJ X to complete some more images!

Yeah, we definitely need to see the music part of the skin, since that is what I use 48% of the time. Also need some shots of the GPS overlay, though I dont know if that is skinning material, but it constitutes another 48% of my time, the remaining 4% is waiting for the database to rebuild after adding new mp3s. I'm almost at 6,000.

Nice, I'm at 11,000 currently, but then again - I'll probably never listen to ALL of them. So far, no new updates from dj x. No word on when he will finish the main menus. As soon as the images are created, I will have them coded.

Other than the main menus, just small stuff left to complete. I don't believe the GPS screen is skinable, but maybe we can do something with the buttons

BEEEEEEEEEYATCH go code! lol almost done everyone just having fun designing the ending parts but other then that everything is going good mister bob her needs to put up some screen shots most likely we will be able to finish the whole skin by NEXT weekend if not then gota wait til the week after im busy all weekend wit gigs and my birthday :-D

Here's a screen shot of the rough main menu. Everything is coded and functional. We still need to do some small things like mod the scroll bars, tweak the colors, etc....

Why the hell do you have to be a "registered user" to view some install pictures on your website ??? That's pretty stupid...

ok, i'll be honest. Every screen is bad *** except the music screen.

I think the music screen needs lots of work, it just isn't up to par. If you look at the other screens, you see bright, 3d buttons that look spectacular. The background is plain, but it works perfectly. the music section has a plain background, and plain buttons. Not good.

I think that if you make the play/pause/FF/RW buttons the same style as the main menu and app launch icons, you would have a very nice skin.
