    Help for newbie plse

I have just completed my install and have a 8" touchscreen that I run at 800X600. The default skin for frodo is 800X480 and sits in the middle of the screen with buttons at the bottom being cut-off in the menus.

    1) Is there a better 800X600 skin out there that anybody can recommend (plse post url)
    2) Can I "move" the defualt position of the app?
    3) Is there a user manual somewhere?
    4) How do I get the volume to increase/decrease at a more rapid rate?

    Thanx in advance

    Manie

There are many. Look here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/sear...earchid=934675
That's your one 'gimmee'. Next time use the SEARCH tool.

    Yes.
    3) Is there a user manual somewhere?
No, but there is a FAQ.

See the answer to #3 above.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

The answer to your question is here: FAQ

FP runs in two modes. One uses "advanced" screen information from the .ini file. This setting is controlled by a checkbox in the FP settings menu. However, it is possible that you cannot access that menu since FP is cut off and the buttons to go to the menu are off the screen.

You can edit the .ini file (I believe the setting you are looking for will say something along the lines of "advanced_screen" or something like that. Don't have a way to check the .ini file at the moment) You can set it to false and FP will launch with everything centered and the app at full screen.

If you choose to use the advanced screen settings, you get more control over the app. For example, I have set it to 800 X 590, which allows the taskbar to show through at the very bottom while FP is running.
