Problems with "search" function in FreeDrive/Destinator?

    Hi guys.
I can see that the topic have been discuss before, but never find an answer for it...

I'm using Destinator PN and FreeDrive Preview for my navigation. The navigation itself works perfect, but the search function, when searchin for a city/street, is COMPLETELY useless.
When I'm choosing "Adress" and have to type my city, nothing happens! When typing some letters, the list isn't even going to the city's starting with this! I can find the city by manual scrolling down, but this is not very usefull!

It seems that the problem appears after cutting the map with "map cutter" and using the cutted map!
When just opening a map, that have not been cutted, the search-function works fine, though the navigation does not work! To get the navigation to work, i HAVE to cut the map with map cutter, but after this it's like something is missed, like a search-database or something, and the city/streest has to be found manually!

    Have anyone found a cure?

Yes, it is with the map for Denmark, cutted out of "Skandinavia" from the Destinator PN.
I can't remember the exact map version, but it is labeled at the box, so I check up on it when getting home...

Hmm...Now I have had a look at the box and cd's! Actually I don't know where the version is typed?
On the CD it says: Destinator PN, DPN, 5.1, NT, WE2
    The box serial is 36781-38000-03000-e6c00-c54a4

    Can you use this info?

OK. I found the versionnumber listed in the WCE.TXT! It says Version 2004.Q4.3320

I had a quick play with a UK map that I cutted and found that if the street came after name with commas "," in it it also would go all the way to the street I wanted.

    ie

    queens,way
    queenscourt

The comma is messing it up.

Thank you for the input, but that does not seem to be the problem! Denmark is a very little country compared to UK, and actually theres only a very few street names that are seperated by a comma!

It's like some of the search-function is missed, when cutting the map! I mean...I can scroll down and fins the city, for an example "Roskilde", but when typing it nothing happens!
    Really strange...
