why would anyone want to download freedrive in 2009?
Still does a job.
I still use it as it's the only GPS Navigation I can interact with how I want. All the rest need sendkeys, scripts and hit and hope to fit in nicely.
V1.06 gave me everything I needed. Still does the job for me, too, unfortunately the maps are getting outdated so don't sweat the updates. I figure sometime in the next three years someone will come out with GPS software that will allow us the same features and ease of integration and then I'll bail on D3.
I will admit I just started seriously using my Google Maps for my WM6.1 Phone--WOW!![]()
Always up-to-date world-wide maps, satellite and street view, online POI search, keyword search, integrated traffic, integrated with contacts, decent routing, small program, fast screen updates, its all there. That's what I'd want for the CarPC; it just has to have an SDK as open as FreeDrive!
