yeah even though I can read heading, it would be better with a big N,S,E,W much better for at a glance reading.

A compass would be cool, specially if you fit it inside the analog speed display, like two concentric circles, one displaying speed and the other direction.

theres a good idea.. I will have a play with the circle command.. please remember I've only been playing with vb since xmas, so something that is quite easy takes me longer as its the first time for everything ..
