I downloaded that and i get an error called:
Runtime Error 9
Subscript out of range

it does this before it even starts

Chances are then you werent running the latest 0.5 Full version. I assume you were running your touchmenu skin. Go into your skin and stick a # in front of menubutton= bit. That should sort it out. I did stick this info in 0.51 release notes :-)

- No need to enter text that you don't need in the skin.ini
(hence get rid of "menubutton=" if using touchmenu)

the POI is showing up but im still getting the error. i have tried both skils.. and im using the australian map

I dont have that map here. I have tried it with what maps I have and everything seems fine. If you could get the map to me somehow I could see whats going on. How big is it ?

He is using the same map as me were using the australian map so i don't know why we have this problem

Also im not using my skin to use FD i've been using the standard skins u had and i downloaded FD off your website so i don't know why it don't work

Ahhh bloody hell the installer started having crc errors in the voice files now it's asking me for disk 2 wtf??

*kicks the pc* Grrrrr.....

Great now its screwed up the d3 sdk install

I redownloaded the FD installer and it's working fine now i tried to route to an address and it works fine but the loading of the city list is a tad bit slow.

But it seems to be all fine now (i downloaded 0.51 not 0.50 again) looks like my VB6 runtime files were out of date which seem to cause the runtime error for address but the new installer fixed that.

So all is good so far

But will it be possible to have icons on the main skin to load other things instead of the menu like route to an address?

Icons.. words whatever you want :-). I'm waiting for Netsuo to release he new version with FreeDrive support, but for now I'm playing with RR. I'm halfway through a skin i'm doing in flash for it. I got to the GPS skin, decided FreeDrive didnt do what I wanted, thats when I started coding freedrive again, now its upto a standard where I can continue with the skin, below is the skin so far.. the clear / history / home / address buttons work great. I just want to move a few labels outs.
