    no sound from music anymore

    Hi guys

Today I installed the freedrive s/w and managed eventually to get the gps to work after it finally located me!!

Anyways, after tryin the s/w out for about 30mins I decided to run roadrunner to play some music. Pressed play - but NO sounds. Checked all the settings and all seem fine. Reboot... still no joy.

DIsconnected the gps unit and rebooted again - this time it worked if i didnt start the freedrive s/w

    Any ideas??

    Baz

yeah I have a simular problem in that everytime I try and do some work on FD, the wife starts to complain. the opposite it seems of what your getting. .. On a serious note, I would say i'm 99.9% sure that FD hasnt anything to do with this error your getting. It might be your gps drivers maybe if your using a usb version, or you might of just clicked mute or something. I would be interested when you test it again on the results

    cheers

Ill test it again to see what happens.

It would be nice to have some volume control for the voice control whilst navigating.

Also, I noticed that the route took me well out of my travels!! It was very odd. I set the postcode to arrive at my mums house, it kinda guided me there via a completely diff and long winded route, then stopped a mile away from the actual address, saying I had arrived at the destination!!

    Yeah right!! lol

I think thats a female thing! Same happens if on laptop and they are watching the soaps. In the past I've had arguments about using my laptop whilst she was watching soaps and that I shouldn't be on my laptop but spend quality time watching TV! Go figure

Well I click quickest/shortest button but I dont think it tells me anywhere which mode its in.. or does it?

Ok, ive just installed the latest RR and that (I think) seems to have solved the audio issue. Altho how do you play/change music and adjust volume while using FD?? Is this possible?

I know what I need.... a MANUAL!! LOL.

    Anyone?

Gotta say - FD is mighty impressive
